Bio: Isabel Milbourn (she/her) is a music theory PhD student at FSU. Originally from Maine, she holds a BMus in violin performance from the University of Maine and an MM in music theory from the University of Nebraska, where she received the Folsom Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award. Her research interests include mathematics in music theory, 20th-century music, and Thea Musgrave. Outside of music theory, Isabel enjoys running, reading, knitting, and cycling.
